Bachelor in Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC): Delhi University
This course is offered by 6 colleges in DU, focussing on Mass Communication and its various forms such Journalism, Advertising and Marketing, Photography, Documentaries etc. The course requires proficiency in languages as being articulate is one of the key skills involved.

Bachelor in Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC): GGSIPU
This course is close to Delhi University’s BJMC in scope. It doesn’t limit students to journalism and offers 3 broad specializations in the 3rd year of study: Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations.

Bachelor of Mass Media and Mass Communication (BMMMC)
One of the most glamorous and ambitious courses in Delhi University are offered only in Indraprastha College for Women. It is quite popular amongst aspirants considering it trains students for various sectors in the media.

Bachelors of Mass Media (BMM)
After University of Delhi, the next most prominent universities are Symbiosis University, Pune and St Xavier’s College, Mumbai. The course is aimed at making students understand the basics of the mass communication world in all forms of mass media. National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE)

A national level hotel management entrance exam that offers admission to qualifying candidates on the basis of their rank and preference of institute to 51 hotel management institutes located at different states.

National Level Entrance Exams

IIHM e-CHAT is conducted to offer admission to qualifying candidates on basis of their performance in online test, personal interview, group discussion and candidate’s preference to any one of IIHM campus from its seven sister campuses located in different states.

AIMA UGAT BHM

All India Management Association (AIMA) conducts Under Graduate Aptitude Test (UGAT) at National/ International Level to offer admission to qualifying candidates at one of the participating institutes.

GGSIPU Common Entrance Test Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology

The exam is conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Inderprastha University once a year to offer admission at its affiliated colleges/institutes.

Punjab University Tourism and Hospitality Aptitude Test

PUTHAT is conducted by the Punjab University to offer admissions for B.Sc program in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (H&HA) and Tourism Management

HOTEL SPECIFIC ENTRANCE EXAM/TEST

Oberoi - STEP

This exam is conducted by the Oberoi Group offering two programmes namely "The Hotel Operations Programme" and "The Kitchen Operations Programme".
On successful completion of the programme, candidates will be awarded a Bachelor of Tourism Studies (BTS) degree from IGNOU and will also receive a "Certificate of Proficiency" from The Oberoi Group and employed at one of the Oberoi Group Hotels.

IHM Auranagabad Entrance Exam

The Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad was set up with the joint efforts of Dr. Rafiq Zakaria's - Maulana Azad Educational Trust and Taj Group with an aim to create high quality centre in hospitality education. The Indian hotel chain The Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces provides technical assistance for the course. Selected candidates are offered with training/internship at Vivanta by Taj – Aurangabad
